The Silverado lineage for Chevrolet continues to reign supreme in the category of full-sized pickup trucks. 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Crew Cab Configurations

Along with multiple trim levels, engine options, and configurations for all sorts of needs, the 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 also boasts varying degrees of cargo room. In fact, there are three crew cab dimensions buyers can choose from, including the following:

• Regular Cab: 44.5 inches

• Double/Super Cab: 44.5/35.2 inches

• Crew/Super Crew Cab: 44.5/43.4 inches

• Bed Length: 69.6 to 98.4 inches

Depending on the cab size, the new Silverado can fit between two and six passengers.

2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Interior

Whether you’re looking for a truck that can work or play — or both — the Silverado can be configured in several different ways to fit your needs.

2023’s base Silverado models offer just the essentials, which include m manually adjustable vinyl seats and manual locks and windows. However, beginning with the LT trim options, the cabin becomes much more dressed up with an elegant dashboard design equipped with a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster as well as a very sizable center infotainment touch screen.

Once you get to the High Country trim level, the interior completely transforms with leather and open-pore wood trim. You’ll also find that the crew cab boasts enormous rear seating with ample headroom and strategically placed cubbies for storage throughout the cabin. This would include the larger-than-life center console for maximum storage.

While the Silverado doesn’t offer the carbon-fiber-reinforced cargo bed found in Chevy’s half-ton Sierra, it does come with a very similar multifunction tailgate — which has been aptly named the “Multi-Flex.”

2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Towing Capacity

At half of a ton, the new Chevy Silverado 1500 comes with an impressive max towing capacity of 13,300 pounds — which beats out the Ram 1500’s maximum tow capacity by 550 pounds (although it also trails the F-150’s max-tow capacity by 700.)

For the maximum tow rating, you would need to choose the 6.2-liter V-8 engine model. However, the 5.3-liter version can handle a towing capacity of up to 11,500 pounds while models equipped with the turbocharged four-cylinder engines can tow up to 9,500 pounds.

Having said that, the full-sized pickup’s powertrains matter a little less when we talk about payload, which can range from 1,870 pounds to 2,280 pounds.

2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Trim Levels

The new 2023 Chevy Silverado 1500 is available with nine trim levels to choose from: The WT, Custom LT, Custom Trail Boss, RST, LTZ, LT Trail Boss, High Country, and the ZR2. The accessories and options associated with these trim levels include four-wheel or rear-wheel drive, three different bed sizes, three different cab styles (as mentioned earlier), and four engine options.

WT

The Work Truck (WT) trim level is equipped with a 2.7-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine, an eight-speed automatic transmission, a regular cab with a long bed, rear-wheel drive, a 7-inch infotainment touchscreen, two-speaker audio system, Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, four-way manually adjustable vinyl front seats, single-zone climate control, a standard locking tailgate, 17-inch wheels, manual windows and locks, automatic emergency braking, forward-collision alert, and front-pedestrian braking.

Options for the WT trim level include four-wheel drive, double crew cabs, cruise control, rear cross-traffic braking, side-assist steps, skid plates, recovery hooks, cargo bed lighting, heated power-adjustable mirrors, the multi-flex tailgate, trailering mirrors, power doors and windows, and cloth seating.

Standout Features:

Custom

The custom trim level package comes with a double cab and standard bed, cloth seats, power windows, cruise control, 20-inch wheels, recovery hooks, cargo bed lighting, a power lock and release tailgate, hitch guidances, tinted glass windows, heated power-adjustable mirrors, a trailering package, a six-speaker audio system, a Wi-Fi hotspot option, rear air vents, remote keyless entry, remote start, and rear-seat reminder.

The other options for the Custom trim level include a tonneau cover.
